The new student

I walk in, look for where I was to sign up.
I look around for someone to help me.
"Hello? Anyone?" I say loudly

Beryl the receptionist immediately popped up in front of the new student. "Hello and welcome to Camelot Boarding School. How can I help you? I bet you're that new student. Um... Charlie is your name, right?"

Beryl was ofen wrong about new students and their names.

"Um, no. Chase Grey" I tell her.
"Does this cost money?" I ask her

"Did you pass our test?" she asked, referring to whether he was of proper descent to attend the school. "It's perhaps the only way to get in. Tough school... Tough school... Well, Chance, you're gonna love it here."

I look around the lobby, wondering if your wore armor here.

"Ah. Then there's you answer," cackled Beryl. "Gwaine had plenty of children, if I recall correctly. Not many were legitimate. Very few are mentioned. Now, Mr Chase Grest, if you'd just fill out this form, I can give you your locker key, your time-table and your dorm room number."

She handed him a piece of paper.

I sit down in one of the chairs, and start filling it out.
"Are there many students here?" I ask politely trying to make conversation.

Nia walked in, pouting. "Gertrude, I lost my locker key again!" She told the secretary, mistaking her name. Her white-blonde hair was slightly frizzy from the fact that she had earlier been training.

Beryl handed him a locker key, his time table and a pack of information. "Good luck, Mr Grest. I hope to see you around the school. Try out for jousting team."

Beryl waved her hand and disappeared, leaving a key for Nia on the front desk.

Beryl appeared behind her. "Ah. You must be Selena. I'm Beryl, the receptionist."

Annemae rolled her eyes. "Typical Beryl. She always gets the new students' names wrong.

I turned and saw her. "Seliana Merlina Adorno. And hi." i said smiling. I pushed my hood back, letting my hair down and looking around. "Im here to get my classes and other stuff." i sad with a smile.

Beryl handed over an application form. "Just fill this out. I believe you were sent your room number in the post? Good. Annemae, how are you?"

"Still breathing," Annemae shrugged. "For now."

I filled out the form, thinking of the day i got the post. I smiled and handed Beryl the form. "Do you have a map? Id like to know this place a bit better." imsaid in my rican accent.

Beryl nodded and handed one other. "The only place not on this map is the Void. The Void is where you go to learn. Annemae here can show you the Void."

I nodded. "Thank you. And when do lessons start?" i asked. I was a bit excited. A class for magic? Better then hogwarts, i thought.

"As soon as you've finished that form, dearie," said Beryl. She handed her time-table over. "Sorceror classes are in the Void. Any knight-related extra-curricular activites take place in the arena on campus."

"Like joust team."

"is it possible i can continue my sword training here?"
I asked. My father had taught me, and i wanted to continue.

"Of course," said Beryl. "There's swordsmanship club after school on Fridays."

"I go to those," said Annemae. "I'll be there."

I smiled. I gave Breyl the form and looked at my time table. "wow... Things sure are different here then in the island.." i said, studying the table.

- Hello, miss Beryl, I'd like to get my time table, she said with her usual accent (she pronounces the "r" the Italian way). And if possible, those for Awen and Eanor too.

Her moss-green eyes caught sight of the girl next to her.

- You coming from Ireland? she asked the girl.

"No, though, i hear its a beautiful place. I come from Puerto Rico. One of the small carribien islands."
I said. I went up to her.
